FracSys
Discrete feature analysis requires a quantitative description of the geometry
and properties of the discrete features which control flow pathways. FracSys
provides the tools to derive these parameters from the types of data which are
typically collected as part of site characterization and exploration programs.
FracSys provides the essential bridge between the expensive data collected by
geologist and geophysicists and the engineers who all to often ignore the data
because it is not provided as useful, quantitative parameters.
Click here for FracSys graphical view.
Both FracSize and OxFilet use "Forward
Modeling" to derive DFN parameters by simulated exploration.
Most FracSys analyses are currently available in both DOS and Windows95/NT
versions. At present, the Windows95/NT versions do not yet include the full
functionality of the DOS versions. Contact the FracMan Technology Group for
current software pricing and availability.
