StrataFrac
 The
discrete feature network (DFN) approach is based on a more accurate and realistic
representation of the geometry and properties of discrete features than in possible
in most conventional continuum codes. StrataModel,
from LandMark Graphics Corporation is an industry leader in 3D geological modeling
for oil reservoirs. StrataFrac provides a two way link between FracWorks discrete
feature network models and StrataModel reservoir data bases. This allows the
user to:
- Use FracWorks DFN models to derive StrataFrac cell properties such as fracture
porosity and permeability
- Use StrataModel cell properties to support the generation of FracWork fracture
geometries and properties.
